Crack Sealing is an asphalt maintenance process that involves filling and sealing cracks in asphalt to prevent water, debris, and other materials from penetrating the pavement. This process helps to extend the life of the asphalt and deli the need for more extensive and costly asphalt repairs.
Crack Filling:
For large and deep asphalt cracks, new asphalt is filled into the crack and compacted before being sealed. The new asphalt in the crack helps restore the integrity of the asphalt and prevents further deterioration and costly repairs or replacement.

What if I don’t take care of my cracks and just have my asphalt sealed?
Untreated cracks are highways for water to seap in under the asphalt which can lead to further cracking, potholes and general deterioration.
What is alligator cracking and do I have this on my asphalt?
Alligator cracking is a large amount of cracks within close proximity to each other resembling the back of an alligator. Some alligator cracks may be treated by crack filling while others need to be removed entirely with a full depth patch.
When can I drive over the crack fill after it’s installed?
The crack fill is heated to around 400 degrees Fahrenheit then applied to the crack. Based on the weather, the solution reaches room temperature within a few minutes. We may apply an anti-tracking solution on top of the crack if needed.
