Line Striping

Line Striping, also known as pavement marking or line marking, is the process of applying painted lines, symbols, or markings to asphalt or concrete surfaces to improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and maximize the efficient use of spaces. It is commonly used for parking lots, roads, highways, airport runways, and sports courts. Meet ADA (Americans with Disabilities) requirements with our line striping service. Small or big project, our team of professionals can handle it all.

Line Striping Process:

  • Surface Preparation: The pavement is cleaned off of dirt, debris, and moisture to ensure the paint adheres correctly.

  • Measurement and Layout: The area is measured, chalk lined or stencils are used for accuracy.

  • Painting: High-quality, durable paint (typically reflective or thermoplastic) is applied using a specialized line striping machine.

  • Drying and Curing: The markings are left to dry and cue before the area is reopened for use.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is ADA and are we in compliance?

ADA stands for Americans with Disabilities Act. We will ensure your parking lot is in compliance with regulations once we have completed your project. By not being compliant with ADA regulations, you can face fining until compliant.

When can I allow vehicles to park in the parking lot once the lines have been installed?

With our fast drying paint products that we use, you can open the parking lot for access in as little as 20 minutes after application weather permitting. Our clients usually need their projects performed overnight or with little to no down time to avoid traffic & parking issues.

Can you create a new layout to stripe lines in my parking lot?

Yes. We are able to stripe over existing lines as well as modify or create an entirely new layout. We have created new layouts for Davis Montana Air Force Base, re-striped lines for commercial parking lots, and simply completed work orders for a single handicap. Whatever the project is, small or large, we are able to service your request.

Is there any way to remove lines on my concrete/asphalt?

Yes. We offer a service where we are able to buff or grind the lines off the surface with minor abrasion.
